When a job calls for a part instead of raw stock, we mold or stamp it. Stamped parts come off die-cut sheet stock, which works well for gaskets, washers, and flat seals in small-to-mid run quantities. Molded parts go through compression or transfer molding when the geometry needs more than a flat cut — grommets, custom seals, bushings, and parts with undercuts or varying cross-sections. We build to your print or your sample, and we'll tell you up front if a stamped part will hold tolerance better than a molded one for your application, or the other way around. Matching the Part to the Process
A flat gasket with a simple bolt pattern almost always stamps cheaper and faster than it molds. A part with a rounded lip, a variable wall thickness, or an O-ring groove usually needs a mold. We'll ask about the application before we recommend a process, not after.

Compound selection is where most rubber problems start or get avoided. We stock and process:

Durometer matters as much as compound. A 40 Duro gasket seals better against an uneven flange than a 70 Duro sheet, but it won't hold up under the same compression load. We size Duro to the application, not to whatever's on the shelf.
